"I lived in Ft. lauderdale Fla and one morning
getting ready for work I went outside and the
SWAT team was on our street (which was a dead
end street). The SWAT team closed off the street and were everywhere, so I called my boss and told
him I couldn't come to work because the SWAT
team won't let me leave the street. He said that
was the best lie he ever heard of and laughed,
but later on that day he heard the news and saw
it was true. He called me and said he couldn't
believe it and would see me tomorrow. The funny part is that actually I lied- there was a back alley I could have gone down to get out, but he didn't know that and I got the day off with extra sleep."
